Социальная платформа Фонда Росконгресс продлевает сроки приема заявок на конкурс «Инносоциум»

At the request of the participants, the term for submitting applications to the National Social Projects Competition ‘Innosocium’ has been extended until 8 January 2019.

«We are extend the term for submitting the applications so that even more talented young people can participate and present their ideas to the public. To date, we have received over 50 applications, but after workshops and meetings with students we see their interest, and their great potential. The main objective of our competition is to educate young people in terms of project management and teamwork, and also to give local projects national publicity. I am delighted that we’re resolving this issue together with the most talented students and outstanding industry professionals,» commented Elena Marinina, Deputy CEO, Director for the Socio-Economic Agenda of the Roscongress Foundation.

The competition invites students to work on projects in three categories: ‘Active Longevity’, ‘Inclusive Society’ and ‘Territorial Development’. The partners of the Roscongress Foundation in each category are the ‘Memory of Generations’ Charity Foundation, the ‘Art, Science, and Sport’ Charitable Foundation, and the Russian Copper Company.

The winners will receive funding for the project and will present their ideas to the business community at SPEIF 2019 in St. Petersburg. In February 2019 the Russian Investment Forum will announce the finalists of the Innosocium competition.

«The young people’s interest in social issues and the relevance of this competition are growing. We see this in the number of applications. In the wake of such interest, we decided to extend the registration period on the innosocium.ru website, to give more interested people a chance to try their hand in a project contest. Moreover, after face-to-face meetings with the members of the expert council in the Civic Chamber and receiving recommendations, participants will have a chance to refine and adapt the materials to better present their work at a high level. One only needs the initiative to participate in the competition. Your participation will drive qualitative change in the future!’ commented Maria Krasnikova, Director of the ‘Art, Science and Sport’ Charitable Foundation.

To recap, on 18 December, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation hosted the final event of the competition ‘Innosocium: From Idea to Implementation’. Over three hundred students from leading Russian universities: RANEPA, MGIMO, RGSU, HSE, MGPPU, attended the event. The students asked questions, shared their ideas on social projects and gained project design experience.

«The objective set by the ‘MEMORY OF GENERATIONS’ Charity Foundation for the Innosocium competition is the search for new communication solutions to bring attention to the ‘Active Longevity’ programme, which addresses the issues of raising the standard of living of the senior population in Russia. We hold that the involvement of young people in this socially significant project is an important step towards this goal, and we are happy to support our partner, the Roscongress Foundation, as well as the winning project in the ‘Active Longevity’ category of the Innosocium competition. Such projects will help engage senior citizens in public life, share their unique experience and use it for the common benefit. The involvement of the elderly in social projects facilitates their proactive attitude, self-fulfilment and continued growth. This is why new steps in this direction will help improve the standard of living of the senior population in Russia,» noted Ekaterina Kruglova, Executive Director of the MEMORY OF GENERATIONS Charity Foundation.

The Roscongress Foundation and the ‘Art, Science and Sport’ Charitable Foundation launched the National Competition ‘Innosocium’ in September 2018. The competition’s objective is finding new communication ideas for addressing social issues, identifying and encouraging talented students, as well as extending effective social design experience to students. Application for participation can be submitted until 8 January 2019 on the website: innosocium.ru.
