An agreement on strategic cooperation between the
Roscongress Foundation and Rosatom State Corporation was signed at the 2nd
Congress of Young Scientists, which takes place from 1 to 3 December at the
Sirius Park of Science and Art. The document
was signed by Alexander Stuglev, Chairman and CEO of the Roscongress
Foundation, and Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom State
Corporation.
The subject of the signed agreement is to establish
partnerships and develop long-term and effective cooperation in a number of areas,
including mutual consulting, information and expert support in areas of mutual
interest; promotion of the achievements of the nuclear power complex of the
Russian Federation worldwide; development of international communication
platforms in the Russian Federation and abroad, as well as the promotion of
topics related to the implementation of the parties’ cooperation in the public
information field.
“The Roscongress Foundation’s experience in
multilateral cooperation with foreign economic partners, trade, financial and
business associations will help promote Rosatom’s initiatives and strengthen
R&D expertise, as well as diversify the business agendas of congress and
exhibition events in which our partners have traditionally been actively
involved,” said Alexander Stuglev.
In the framework of cooperation both organizations
will provide mutual consulting, informational and expert support, exchange
reference, statistical, analytical information on planned activities, projects
and programmes related to the subject of the signed agreement, and cooperate in
order to provide objective and comprehensive information coverage in the
Russian and global media space of the activities, to further strengthen the
positive image of their activities.
“Rosatom has been cooperating with the
Roscongress Foundation for many years, taking an active part in all major
Russian forums. I am sure that together we will be able to successfully promote
Rosatom's high technologies in the Russian Federation and abroad by increasing
communication and marketing activity,” said Alexey Likhachev.
