President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has sent greetings to the participants, organizers, and guests of the 5th anniversary of the Russian Energy Week International Forum. In the greetings, Putin noted, in particular, that Russia is steadfastly among the world energy leaders and is well known as a reliable and responsible exporter of energy resources. Putin also stated that Russia is fulfilling its obligations and seeks to conclude long-term mutually beneficial contracts despite unprecedented pressure on the country.
«The development of energy markets directly depends on constructive cooperation among nations. For this reason, we will continue diversifying energy supplies, modernizing the fuel and energy industry, attracting investments, and launching new projects, including the deep processing of raw materials,» Putin said.
The Russian Energy Week International Forum will be held on 12–14 October in Moscow (Manege Central Exhibition Hall).
