The first edition of scientific and practical Conference ‘Territory of Energy Dialogue’ will be held on 11 October, on the eve of the 5th Russian Energy Week International Forum. The Conference’s business programme will consist of nine panel sessions covering a wide range of topics in the field of scientific and technological development in the fuel and energy sector. The aim of the Conference is to promote scientific and technological development of the Russian fuel and energy industries to ensure their stable operation.
The main theme of the Conference’s keynote event, the plenary session, has been chosen: ‘Developing Science to Achieve Technological Sovereignty in the Fuel and Energy Sector’. The session participants will try to identify priority areas of research and technological development, in order to ensure the stable operation of fuel and energy enterprises. It will also attempt to form a new approach to the future of scientific and technological development of the Russian energy sector, taking into account the priorities of achieving technological sovereignty, while also answering the following questions: What does “technological sovereignty” mean and where should its achievement begin; what technological breakthroughs do fuel and energy sectors of Russia need and how to ensure the greatest possible technological progress?
During the panel sessions, discussions will focus on new technologies that have changed the outlook of the fuel and energy sectors, and the role and place of scientific and technical information in Russia. Other sessions will discuss futurism and corridors of opportunity for the fuel and energy sectors, digital technologies and platform solutions for managing energy development, and much more.

To ensure the country’s energy security and the competitiveness of the domestic fuel and energy sector on global markets today, it is particularly important to identify priority areas of research and technological development. This should help form a new perspective on the scientific and technological development of the Russian energy sector in the future, taking into account the priorities of achieving technological sovereignty,” commented Alexey Kulapin, General Director of the Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
The venue for the Conference will be the Radisson Blu Olympiyskiy Hotel. The organizers of the Conference are the Russian Energy Agency (REA) of the Ministry of the Russian Federation and the Roscongress Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
A REW 2022 accreditation badge is needed for admission to the Conference.
As a reminder, the 5th Russian Energy Week International Forum, will be held from 12 to 14 October at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall (Moscow).
