Cooperation with French Business Discussed in Moscow

Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, met with Pavel Shinsky, Director of the Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Moscow. 

The Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is traditionally taking an active part and has made a significant contribution to preparations for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. For many years, this organization has assisted in shaping special events on the sidelines of the Forum and has been actively involved in developing proposals on further development of economic relations between the two countries. 

“The Franco-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the largest union of French business operating in Russia. It plays an important role in supporting economic ties between our countries. The Chamber contributed to large projects that localized production in the Russian Federation and to close cooperation of both countries’ businesses,” noted Anton Kobyakov.

Pavel Shinsky touched upon the development of the wine industry in Russia in addition to discussing a refined scheme of step-by-step support for a company at each stage of its development in France, promising export destinations and current trends in consumer behaviour in France. 

“Each platform of the Roscongress Foundation is an opportunity to have an open dialogue and get integrated to today’s agenda. I am confident that new opportunities will drive the development of a large number of industries,” saidPavel Shinsky.

The 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on 15–18 June 2022.
