Петербургский международный юридический форум: драйвер развития правового диалога в обществе

The Organizing Committee of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum and a regulation on its work have been approved in accordance with Decree No. 55 of the Russian President dated 15 February 2022.

This year, the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will be held offline for the first time in two years.

Russian Minister of Justice Konstantin Chuychenko has been appointed chairman of the Forum’s Organizing Committee, which will meet in the near future to determine the site of the Forum as well as its main organizational parameters. Chuychenko stressed that St. Petersburg will become the main international platform for the global legal community during the Forum.

“The Forum will provide all its participants with the opportunity to continue the dialogue in the legal sphere and strengthen relations between countries in matters of jurisprudence and law-making. I am certain that this year’s discussions will be interesting and productive both for the professional community and for the general public,” Chuychenko said.

The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum was held for the first time in 2011 and is supported by the Russian President and the Russian Ministry of Justice. Over the years, the Forum has become a leading global platform for an open dialogue between representatives of the political, legal, economic, and scientific communities. The key goal of the event is to engage in a comprehensive discussion and promote various ideas for ways to modernize law as part of the current global agenda.
