Viral
videos about digital technologies with the power to change the world, flash
clips about science and world-famous inventors and scientists, livestreamed
interviews with entrepreneurs and innovators: all of this and more will feature
in a new project developed by the Roscongress Foundation, the Innovation Space
and their partners for the Science Fest Science and Innovation Festival. The
new format will see exciting online content hosted on the Festival and the
Roscongress Foundation’s social media pages as well as the platforms of the
Festival partners.
The
symbiosis of next-generation content with online conferences, lectures and
interactive workshops, all of which are by now well established, will form a
key element of the Science Fest programme. “One of our main objectives is to
build a community of like-minded people who, like us, love science and
everything that contributes to the development of our planet. We looked very
carefully at what young people are interested in today and what excites them while
developing the Festival concept. Based on what we found, we have prepared a
great deal of high-quality and attractive content that will be available to
everyone,” said Science Fest project creator Dmitry Sryvkov.
The content
will be uploaded to the Festival’s social media pages on various platforms in
several clusters, including ‘top 10 innovations’, long reads, video reports on
innovations at Russian and international companies, interviews on interesting
topics with company heads and representatives of the departments responsible
for scientific developments and digitalization, reports on the activities of
leading universities working in this area, lectures and workshops led by
extraordinary speakers and innovative thinkers inspiring developments in robotics,
design and prototyping, as well as live broadcasts and streams in which
audiences will have the chance to participate directly. All of this awaits
participants of this unique ‘knowledge marathon’.
Science
Fest will launch the format on a year-round basis, and anyone is free to get
involved at any time, simply by picking up their smartphone or tablet. The
project will bring together young scientists, developers, engineers, designers,
entrepreneurs and all lovers of cutting-edge technologies, who will be able to
freely share scientific knowledge, digital know-how and a unique atmosphere of
engagement with an exciting subject. Science and innovation are closer than
ever before.
Science Fest will be the first
project of its kind in the Russian online space. The Festival’s content will be
aired on the Roscongress Foundation’s online platforms, including the
Roscongress TV YouTube channel, the official website and social media, as well
as the online platforms of the Festival partners.
