The Jewish Autonomous Region will take part in the Far East Street’ exhibition, which will open in Vladivostok on 5 September. The region is preparing to showcase key industry and investment projects as well as prospects for international business cooperation.

The Jewish Autonomous Region’s exposition will demonstrate its potential as a territory of action. The key part of the regional pavilion will be the Rainbow Bridge, since the rainbow is a symbol of peace, happiness, and kindness, as well as the main element of the region’s flag.

Visitors will find out what makes the region special, including its unique national features, natural beauty, and investment potential. One of the architectural components of the exposition will be a decorative panel depicting the Amur tiger.

The exposition will present key investment projects for the development of industry and the mineral resource sector. These include a project to develop the Kimkansky and Sutarsky iron ore deposits with the construction of a mining and processing plant, a project to develop the Savkinsky deposit in the Obluchensky District, the construction of a new modern high-tech plant that will produce metal structures and sandwich panels, and the establishment of a high-tech timber industry enterprise. Booths with product samples will also be on display.

The region will also present a transportation investment project: the construction of a railway bridge across the Amur River from Nizhneleninskoye in Russia to Tongjiang in China.

In addition, the Jewish Autonomous Region will show off some of its breakthrough projects: the construction of a transhipment complex for liquefied hydrocarbon gases, the creation of the Solnechny Dar bioengineering cluster, a medical cluster, a greenhouse complex, a soybean processing complex, a breeding reproducer, as well as the development of the Topolikha section of the Soyuzny graphite deposit.

The Jewish Shtetl live installation will also be on display at the region’s exposition. Visitors will have a chance to buy light industry products and souvenirs, as well as taste local products, such as honey and sausages.

«The Jewish Autonomous Region is located at the intersection of several transport routes and has a vast resource base and great potential for ecological and ethno-cultural tourism. The region has created all the conditions investors need and provides comprehensive support in obtaining the status of a resident of the advanced special economic zone and doing business comfortably. The region’s investment appeal is a priority in the government’s work. We are open to cooperation! I invite everyone to visit the hospitable land of the Jewish Autonomous Region!» Jewish Autonomous Region Governor Rostislav Goldstein said.

«Far East Street» exhibition will be open to visitors and participants of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum on the quay of the Ajax Bay at the campus territory of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) from 5 to 8 September.
