The Saratov region is located in the south-east of the European part of Russia, in the northern part of the Lower Volga region. This is a region with a unique individual appearance and a rich historical destiny.

• activities in the field of information and communication.

The Saratov Region is traditionally an industrial and agricultural region.

In terms of the production of certain types of industrial products, the region occupies a leading position in the Russian Federation and is among the top ten leading regions in the production of basic types of agricultural products. The region also has a fairly rich mineral resource potential.

• diversified industry structure;

• a high share in the production of certain types of agricultural products in Russia;

• significant resource potential: mineral resources, high availability of energy resources, significant water resources, availability of land resources for the production of agricultural products;

• favorable transport and geographical location at the intersection of transport corridors for the creation of transport and logistics hubs and the performance of transit functions, the promotion of goods in the directions «„North-South“», "" West-East";

• the presence of objective prerequisites for the appearance of the region’s function as a transport and logistics center;
