The Roscongress Foundation will present unique master classes as well as its social, charitable, and educational projects and hold public talks, quizzes, and AR quests at the #WeAreTogether International Civic Forum on 2–5 December 2021. The event will take place on the eve of Volunteer Day.
“The Foundation’s experts have developed and prepared an original programme especially for the #WeAreTogether Forum that covers all the areas of social aid that the organization provides for people of different age groups: from a national hotline to support for hospice for children and youth. I’m certain that our initiatives will attract the attention of the Forum’s audience and elicit a response in the hearts of its participants,” Roscongress Foundation Deputy CEO and Head of the Directorate for Relations with Participants Maria Kiseleva said.
The booth’s programme will feature master classes on first aid, handicrafts as well as crowdfunding and its capabilities. Experts and guests at the Roscongress Foundation’s Building Trust Area will hold presentations on how to engage in continuous learning, how to distinguish dreams from desires as well as mentoring in business and sports.
Special attention will be paid to remote and distance employment. As part of its projects, the Roscongress Foundation actively hires people with disabilities to work at its major conventions and exhibitions, inviting them to become employees of the hotlines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, and other business platforms.
With its extensive experience in hosting major conventions and exhibitions in Russia and abroad, the Roscongress Foundation traditionally devotes serious attention to young human resources. A new project, the Roscongress Career Centre, will be presented at the booth. The Career Centre will become a kind of job exchange for students and job seekers with work experience who want to expand their skills and take an internship or a job at reputable Russian and international organizations. In addition, anyone who wishes to do so will be able to take part in a survey that will help determine a personal development trajectory. People who complete the survey will be able to take part in training and self-improvement projects as well as various volunteer initiatives of the Roscongress Foundation, and also take an internship at the Roscongress Foundation and partner companies.
The Roscongress Foundation booth’s presentation programme at the #WeAreTogether International Civic Forum will encompass all age groups. The booth will provide information about future volunteer projects and promotions, such as ‘Father Frost Comes to Your Home!’, the ‘School of Life’ – an educational charity project for schoolchildren, and ‘Faces of School Friends’, among others.
The booth will particularly focus on charity. Guests will learn the history behind the creation and philosophy of ‘Paper Bird’, the first hospice in Russia for children and young adults. The Gift Sunlight Charitable Foundation will present master classes and awards for its volunteers. The Right Direction Charitable Medical Search Service will present a project for informational collaboration with volunteer movements in Russia and abroad.
Over the four-day period of the Forum, the booth’s game projects will provide an opportunity to take a break from the eventful business programme: participants will be able to take part in the ‘Learning at School’ quiz as well as win prizes in the ‘Land of Good Deeds’ interactive augmented reality quest, which was prepared with the support of the MARMA project. The winners of the quest will have a unique opportunity to attend the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will take place on 15–18 June 2022.
On 5 December, the final day of the #WeAreTogether Forum, the #WeAreTogether International Award Ceremony will take place. The Roscongress Foundation is a member of the organizing committee for the award. The winners of the ‘Business’ competition will be awarded certificates and also have the opportunity to take part in Youth Entrepreneurship Day at the Russian Investment Forum, which will be held in Sochi on 17–19 February 2022, and the International Youth Economic Forum at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and also to organize an exhibition of their projects at these events as part of the Fund RC-Investments thematic area.
The #WeAreTogether Forum is being organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and the DOBRO.RF platform. It will be held under the auspices of UNESCO in 2021. The Forum has expanded its audience this year: participants will not only include volunteers and leaders of NPOs, but also representatives of socially oriented businesses as well as journalists and bloggers. They will be united by a common idea – ‘A Partnership for Common Goals’.
