The Roscongress Foundation has published the official magazine of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021. The publication includes articles on the Forum’s business agenda, useful information that will help navigate the venue, and interesting materials on the past and present of St. Petersburg.
The central topic of the issue is the reaction of the Russian and global economies to the corona crisis, which has become a real stress-test for the financial and social systems of every country around world. Successful cases are examined both at the level of entire industries, such as domestic tourism in Russia, and single companies.
The magazine focuses on industries that can become drivers of economic development in the new reality: NFT-art, the market of digital twins of real persons, the sharing economy, etc. A separate section is dedicated to the possibilities of investment cooperation between Russia and Qatar, the guest country of SPIEF 2021.
This year’s issue also covers the Roscongress Foundation projects at the event, especially since some of them, such as the Creative Business Forum, SPIEF Junior, and the Roscongress Investment Fund area, will be presented this year for the first time.
Traditionally, there is plenty of articles on entertainment in the magazine. In addition to information on the Forum’s cultural and sports programme, one can learn about unusual places in the Northern Capital, special exhibits at the Hermitage, and soccer-themed walking routes ahead of Euro 2020 (St. Petersburg is one of the host cities of the tournament). For those who intend to travel outside the city, a guide to interesting locations that can be reached by car, yacht or helicopter has also been prepared.
Electronically, the magazine is available on the official SPIEF website, and some of the articles can be found in the Roscongress Foundation’s Information and Analytical System. Printed magazines will be available on Aeroflot flights between Moscow and St. Petersburg, onboad Sapsan trains, and in the Forum’s official cars for the duration of the event. You can get the magazine right at the SPIEF venue from staff at information desks.
30,000 copies of the magazine have been printed, in both Russian and English.
