The top 15 industrial start-ups will be presented during the Business Priority Pitch Session at the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS-2019) in Yekaterinburg on 9–11 July. The session will be held with the support of the Roscongress Foundation along with the Digital Economy Development Fund as part of the Startup Lounge project. The National Engineering Corporation is the general partner of the Pitch Session.
The session will feature presentations of eight Russian and seven international start-ups in such areas as artificial intelligence, nature-like technologies, and social engineering modelling. The event will take place on 9 July with the slogan ‘Innovations Are Changing the Landscape of the Future’. The goal of the project is to support and scale up industrial development projects and attract investments from global funds.
The 100 best start-ups were selected during the first stage of the competition. Based on the voting results, 15 of them were granted ‘Business Priority’ status and will be presented to Russian and Arab investment funds, state corporations, and major industrial companies.
In addition, the Roscongress Foundation and Global Manufacturing Organisation Limited (GMOL) will sign an agreement at the Summit on comprehensive support for the innovative companies that win the Business Priority competition.
