Maxim Oreshkin to Discuss Promising Trends of the Russian Economy at Russia House in Davos

Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin will participate in the session «Russia’s Economy — A Step Forward», part of the Russia House project in Davos.

The Russia House, which is organized by The Roscongress Foundation, will take place on 21–25 January 2019 during the World Economic Forum.

The discussion will focus on further technological development of the economy in such areas as e-commerce, mobile communication and FinTech. Russia’s achievements in global technology have been on par with those of developed nations. Can Russia deliver a breakthrough and surpass developed markets in technological innovation? Which sectors are best positioned to lead global economic progress? The panellists include the operational and Chief Operating Officer at Yandex Greg Abovsky, founder of Frontier Ventures Dmitry Alimov, President and Chairman of the Board of AFK Sistema Andrey Dubovskov, Vice President of AO Tinkoff Bank Maxim Evdokimov, member of the Board of Directors of Ozon Bernard Lukey and CEO of Opportunity Network Brian Pallas. The session will be moderated by CEO and founder of EM, Tom Blackwell.
