The International Financial Congress has posted the event’s business programme on its website with a list of speakers and moderators.
The International Financial Congress will take place on 6–8 June 2018 in St. Petersburg.
The business programme will open with a speech by Chairman of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina.
The plenary session ‘How Regulation Affects the Stability of the Financial System and Economic Growth’ will focus on changes in the regulation of the financial sector in the ten years following the last global financial crisis, the results of measures that have been applied to ensure financial stability as well as the prospects for the development of the financial market.
Citi’s Chief Economist Willem Buiter will address participants on the second day of the congress.
Events to be held on the zero day of the congress include the First Macroeconomic Conference of the Bank of Russia, the ‘Pressing Microfinancing Issues’ Conference as well as a number of thematic round tables.
