SPILF 2022 to Focus on Battling Information Crime

29 June 2022 at 10:00 the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will host a session entitled ‘The Fight against Information Crime: International Legal Tools’.

The session will be devoted to the global legal regulation of state cooperation in countering crime in the field of information and communication technologies.

The participants of the discussion will consider the implementation of basic mechanisms for improving the effectiveness of combating crime in the field of ICT and talk about the role of international organizations in this process.

“Given the rapid development of the market for new electronic devices, the problem of protecting personal and confidential data is especially urgent today. In turn, as information technologies and security systems improve, legal regulation of cybercrime should also be modernized,” said Andrey Loginov, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation.

The session speakers include Andrey Loginov, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation; Sergey Plokhov, Deputy Head of an Oversight and Anticorruption Department of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office; Dmitry Bukin, Deputy Director, Department of International Information Security of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation; and Boris Miroshnikov, Vice President, Citadel Group of Companies.
