The Roscongress Foundation and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) have signed an agreement.
The agreement was signed by Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev and Apex-Brasil CEO Augusto Pestana.
The agreement focuses on collaboration between the professional and business communities of Russia and Brazil to ensure effective methods of communication between Russian and Brazilian stakeholders at the Brazilian Investment Forum (BIF) and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
“Cooperation with Apex-Brasil will help to organically supplement the business programme of the Foundation’s traditional events in Russia and offsite events in foreign countries with an up-to-date agenda and high-level experts as well as successfully promote our country’s successes in innovation and technology at foreign convention and exhibition venues,” Stuglev said.
The agreement includes clauses on information support by the parties, including mutual consulting as well as information and expert support on issues related to the promotion of the SPIEF and BIF, as well as mechanisms for the SPIEF and BIF to promote information cooperation to provide objective and comprehensive coverage about the SPIEF and BIF in the Russian and global media in order to further strengthen their positive reputations.
“For Apex-Brasil, the signing of this agreement demonstrates the desire of the Roscongress Foundation and the Russian Federation to further strengthen relations with Brazil. There is no doubt that already in the present and, of course, in the near future, our union, as part of the international community, will serve as a fundamental link in economic, trade, and political relations with the Russian Federation.
In this context, it is a top priority for Apex-Brasil to achieve the goals that have been set for cooperation between our organizations. Together with the Roscongress Foundation, we hope to increase trade flows by creating spaces for meetings and dialogue,” Pestana said.
