Trends of the Investors’ Rights Protection Legal Regulation in the Conditions of the Economy Digitalization

The pandemic has sent shockwaves through the global economy, and has delivered a clear message to all nations: there can be no future without international cooperation, digitalization, and high-quality healthcare. It is not enough to possess rich reserves of natural resources — steps also need to be taken to boost investment initiatives and enact positive social change. Today, these aims are beginning to be fulfilled with the introduction of advanced special economic zones and other incentives in the Russian Far East.

The research prepared by the Fund RC Investments which is an investment unit of the Roscongress Foundation examines the current situation as well as projections regarding the impact of coronavirus on the state of the economy in Russia and across the globe. It also outlines the main challenges and measures to support businesses under the pandemic and provides recommendations on how to streamline measures focused on the support of SMEs and making the process of overcoming the crisis easier.

The special issue of the journal contains a collection of scholarly articles which summarize and conceptualize the results of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2019).
