Maxim Oreshkin, Acting Minister for
Economic Development of the Russian Federation, will take part in the session
titled ‘Inequality as a Barrier to Economic Growth’, which will be held 22
January as part of the Russia House in Davos.
Ray Dalio, founder of the
Bridgewater hedge fund and a globally famous investor, will also participate in
the discussion on the socio-economic inequality of countries in the age of
globalization. The session will be moderated by Fyodor Lukyanov, Research Director, Foundation for Development and Support of
the Valdai Discussion Club; Chief Editor, Russia in Global Affairs Journal.
In addition, Russia House in Davos
will play host to a private meeting of Maxim Oreshkin with member companies of
the Foreign Investment Advisory Council in Russia (FIAC).
The official Russian residence will open
its doors to participants of the World Economic Forum and guests of Davos from 20–24
January. The events of the business programme will be broadcasted online on the
