The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has calculated that delegations from 206 countries and territories have attended business events in Russia over the last five years and that only includes events organized by the Roscongress Foundation. For comparison’s sake, the United Nations (UN) includes 193 states.

The Roscongress Foundation has foreign economic agreements with partners from 93 countries, and more than 10,000 journalists from Russian and international media outlets have worked at the Foundation’s key events over the last year.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was held in St. Petersburg on 6–8 June 2019. This year the event was attended by an unprecedented number of participants — more than 19,000 people from 145 countries. The guests included some 1,300 company CEOs. On 2–5 October, Moscow will host the events of Russian Energy Week, a major platform that is used to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy industry and tap into the potential of international cooperation in the energy sector. On 22–24 October, the Russia—Africa Summit and the Economic Forum will take place in Sochi under the chairmanship of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Egyptian President and Chairman of the African Union Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
