The International Youth Legal Forum is being held as part of the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum. IYLF will be taking place at the ExpoForum venue on 28 June, the opening day of SPILF.
The International Youth Legal Forum is being organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, the Roscongress Foundation, and St Petersburg State University.
The IYLF 2022 programme includes approximately 20 sessions that will offer Forum participants, young lawyers, and students of the law the opportunity to engage with their peers and discuss issues of particular concern and interest to them.
During the discussions, the young professionals will touch on a wide range of topics, from the role of the youth legal community in the development of Russia’s electoral infrastructure to the topic of the country’s sustainable development.
Important issues of international law will also receive due attention and will include public international law in the cyber era and the finer points of SCO business culture among others.
Neither will the topics of sports arbitration, NFT technologies, or the legal regulation of the gaming industry be neglected. More than one Forum session will be devoted to digital law and new technological advancements.
In addition, the IYFF programme will pay considerable attention to the role of young people in building a modern society governed by the rule of law and the future of our country.
