Andrey Filatov: Digital State: New Business Models Brought by Total Digitalization

The UNDP Annual Report on Human Capital Development in 2020 presents a new perspective on human development in the Anthropocene and offers an adjusted methodology for calculating the Human Development Index.

The work by the McKinsey & Company consultancy explores SME development, challenges faced by SMEs, and the process of building an effectual ecosystem which would help businesses meet the challenges and would, at the same time, be profitable for banks.

The report titled Proposals for Russia’s Migration Strategy through 2035 has been prepared by the order from the Centre for Strategic Research. The period that followed the disintegration of the Soviet Union proved to be challenging
for Russia from the perspective of politics, socioeconomics, demographics and migration. The unfavourable demographic trends and the declining and ageing of the population
were partially offset by an influx of temporary and permanent migrants from
other post-Soviet states. But numerous errors in the migration policy led to a decrease in Russia’s migration attractiveness, turning migration into a source of social tension and an instrument of political infighting.

In this publication, the non-governmental organization Roskomsvoboda assesses the degree to which popular web services of Runet (the Russian-language segment of the Internet) observe digital rights of their users.
