The Investment Platform of Russian
Regions project is implemented by the Roscongress Foundation and its investment
platform, Fund RC-Investments. Its aim is to create a space to attract
investment for constituent entities of the Russian Federation and implement
prospective business projects within those regions. As one of the leading
independent rating agencies in Russia, the National Rating Agency has a wide
set of analytical skills in terms of evaluating and creating strategies to
improve the investment attractiveness of constituent entities of the Russian
Federation.
“Helping to improve the
investment situation in constituent entities is key to ensuring economic
development. The growth in gross regional product and increase in capacity is
proof that Russian regions have considerable investment potential. It’s
important to present with business community with up-to-date analytical
information on the investment opportunities and projects within constituent
entities. To that end, we’re joining forces with the National Rating Agency,”
said Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board
and Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation.
Publishing and updating
the investment attractiveness rating of Russian regions, developing their
investment strategies, preparing analytical reviews, organizing events to award
regions for their achievements and running topic-specific roundtables are just
some of the activities which the Roscongress Foundation and the National Rating
Agency are set to collaborate on.
“The objective of the agreement that has been signed
is strategic,” said Managing Director for Development Projects of the National Rating Agency,
Viktor Chetverikov. “This partnership with the Foundation, in particular, is
intended to boost work across the board with a view to increasing the
visibility of Russian regions. The National Rating Agency will also provide
assistance in developing joint research and analytical projects to enhance
Russia’s investment potential and improve the business climate.”
“Realizing the investment potential of constituent
entities of the Russian Federation is crucial to the work of the Roscongress
Foundation’s investment platform. We’ve created a unique ecosystem which
combines regional interests, project instigators and investors. Working with
the National Rating Agency will build on the opportunities that the Investment Platform of Russian Regions is creating,” said Alexander
Shatirov, Director of the RC-Investments Foundation.
