На ПМЭФ-2018 открыли лаундж-зону «Территория инноваций»

On 24 May, the Startup Lounge at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was officially opened. Taking part in the event were Konstantin Noskov, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation; Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Roscongress Foundation; Kirill Varlamov, Head of the Internet Initiatives Development Fund; Igor Drozdov, Chairman of the Board of the Skolkovo Foundation; and Ekaterina Dibrova, President of RHANA Medical Corporation.

The Startup Lounge is a space for meetings, exchanges of opinions, and discussions between IT entrepreneurs, business representatives, government figures, and people from the investment community.

An auditorium also forms part of the Startup Lounge, which will operate for the duration of the Forum. It will provide an area for representatives of industry, big business, and government bodies to discuss the prospects for implementing technologies in practice. The lounge will host sessions on innovations in industry, healthcare, and agriculture, while participants and guests will be able to discuss the unique aspects and issues specific to collaboration between startups and corporations. Naturally, quantum technologies and prospects for their application will also feature strongly as a theme. In addition, over 20 IT entrepreneurs will be at the technology zone — people whose startups are already changing the digital ecosystem of the country.
